MAKAIRA

We are located in Islamorada, Florida. We love to fish and travel. Our favorite place in the whole world is the Bahamas. We will be sharing our love for the water and all of our water adventures.

 

Captain Bill Marceau is our mentor and began his ocean travels in the 70's. Bill has navigated through Lake Superior out to Nova Scotia and along the East Coast on a 34 C&C named Mandalay. When not on a sailing vessel, Bill has been fishing the waters off the Florida Keys for the past 30 years. He has embarked on travels around the world on a 43' Catamaran, Wind Pony. Including a Trans-Atlantic crossing being at sea for 14 days and Trans-Pacific crossing being at sea for 27 days. His knowledge of the ocean allows us to travel to far off places. He has been teaching us how to love and appreciate the ocean and will continue to teach us lifelong skills on the water.
